CMI Support Centre, an electronic network for supporting teachers using Chinese
as the Medium of Instruction (CMI), aims at improving the quality of teaching
and learning. It provides a forum for CMI teachers to have discussion and sharing.
Curriculum Development Council is a free-standing advisory body appointed by
the Chief Executive of the HKSAR to give advice to the Government on matters
relating to curriculum development for the local school system.
Education Development Program, organized by The Hong Kong University of Science
& Technology aims at providing teaching materials for teachers of science and
mathematics subjects.
IT in Education Network is a comprehensive, school-based, online educational
network supported by the Quality Education Fund. Open to all teachers and students
from kindergarten to secondary levels in Hong Kong, this Network serves to provide
assistance in curriculum and professional development
IT School was established to promote the use of IT in schools in Hong Kong.
It has been rewarded by 4 Quality Education Fund (QEF) projects to develop English
Self Learning System, Web-based applications for Chinese Composition, an Online
Virtual Laboratory and Web Publishing System for Computer Science Course and
a Group School Intranet System.
The Quality Education Cyber Resource Centre makes available online Quality Education
Fund (QEF) projects, reports and deliverables which help disseminate the results
of QEF projects and promote sharing among teachers. It has a simple yet powerful
search engine and a personalized work-desk for teachers to index and manage
their own resources.
