Teacher Trainer Oxford Path Home Learning Planner Sales Assistant Business Development Executive
We are both a department of the University of Oxford and a major international publishing organization with a significant presence in Hong Kong. We have the following vacancies:
Teacher Trainer
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop lesson plans and learning materials of various levels
  • Provide teaching support and consultation to learning centres, primary and secondary schools
  • Conduct research, teachers’ training and workshops in learning centres and schools
  • Promote OUP’s services, image and products
Requirements:
  • Degree in English, Education or related disciplines
  • At least five years’ working experience in the education sector and familiar with the local school environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English (native or close to native)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Travel when required
Oxford Path Home Learning Planner
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customers with one-to-one consulting service on product solutions, child development and English language learning
  • Help run exhibitions, talks, carnivals, road shows in addition to routine activities in the service centre
  • Conduct activities and talks for children and parents such as storytelling, info session, etc.
  • Cold call potential customers, build network and cultivate customer relationship
  • Execute effective strategies to achieve sales target
Requirements:
  • Diploma or university degree holder
  • Proactive and self-motivated with an amiable personality
  • Fluent Cantonese, English and Putonghua
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ready for weekend work
  • Knowledge of child development would be an added value
  • Experience in parents’ market or baby/child products would be an advantage
Sales Assistant
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and other team members
  • Support daily operations of sales team by handling purchase orders, managing data records and monitoring sales processes etc.
  • Answer telephone enquiries
  • Occasional client visits
Requirements:
  • Form 5 or equivalent
  • Good typing skills (English & Chinese) & PC skills in MS Office
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Responsible, attentive to details and can work under pressure
  • Strong self-motivation, good organization skills and team work
Business Development Executive
Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Business Development Team with the aim to manage existing clients and expand the scope of business in the China market
  • Provide support to existing partners, including organizing events, training and order processing, etc.
  • Liaise with potential partners on all business related arrangements
  • Conduct desktop and market researches and analysis
  • Assist in preparations of internal and external communications materials
  • Day-to-day office administration
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, English Language or Linguistics
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese is a must (Mandarin and Cantonese)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with systems, including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Frequent travel required
