General Manager, Hong Kong Educational Publishing Sales Executive
We are both a department of the University of Oxford and a major international publishing organization with a significant presence in Hong Kong. We have the following vacancies:
General Manager, Hong Kong Educational Publishing
Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the P&L and operational aspects of the company’s educational publishing business in Hong Kong and Macau
  • Leading an internal team to engage in marketing, sales, and publishing on a range of subjects.
  • Working closely with different departments to achieve annual budgets and to expand the reach of OUP publications.
  • Establishing the company as a highly trusted provider of learning solutions.
  • Liaising closely with the company’s regional and global teams
  • Monitoring government policy and market environment closely to ensure sound and sustainable business practices.
  • Keeping alert to any potential risk and/or opportunities for the business and maintaining the highest ethical standard in all operations.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years’ senior management experience in general management, editorial, marketing or sales gained from an international education or publishing
  • organization
  • Familiar with the education system, government policies and digital technology
  • HK experience is a must and China experience is a great asset
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate, coach and supervise subordinates from different backgrounds
  • A good communicator, negotiator, self-starter and team player
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree holder
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Sales Executive
Main Responsibilities:

The core responsibility of this position is to promote textbooks and learning materials to teachers.

Requirements:
  • An outgoing personality
  • Good presentation skill
  • Some working experience in sales, marketing, or customer services

Candidates with college education, experience in the school sector, and driving license will have an advantage.
