'Reaching for the stars' Students' Workshop

800 secondary school students attended ‘Reaching for the stars—A sharing by HKDSE top scorers’ on 5 February 2015 and brought home with them a bagful of practical tips that will help them not only survive but ace the HKDSE English exam.
Speakers Ivan Ma and Theodore Tam, who obtained Level 5** in seven subjects in 2014, shared their insights into the English exam generously. From seemingly trivial matters such as using in-ear headphones for the listening task, to more technical strategies such as finding the answer by elimination, the speakers covered everything to boost students’ confidence and make getting a Level 5** a reality.
