Oxford University Press (China) Awarded “Caring Company” Logo for Ninth Consecutive Year
(13 Jan 2026) Oxford University Press China (OUPC) is proud to announce that it has once again been awarded the “Caring Company” Logo (Advanced Performance) by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), marking the ninth consecutive year of recognition.
The Caring Company Scheme aims to strengthen corporate social responsibility by fostering collaboration among businesses, the public, and the social services sector. The award recognizes organizations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to caring for the community, employees, and the environment. Receiving this honor for nine consecutive years underscores OUPC’s sustained dedication to these principles.
For more than six decades, OUPC has been a trusted partner in education, publishing high-quality textbooks, dictionaries, and digital learning solutions that empower teachers, students, and parents. Beyond publishing, the company has consistently invested in community initiatives — from book donations to volunteer programs — ensuring equitable access to learning resources.
OUPC is also deeply committed to environmental stewardship. Since 2025, all printed publications have transitioned to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper, reflecting OUP’s vision of building a future where education and sustainability go hand in hand.
Equally central to OUPC’s mission is its people. The company places strong emphasis on employee well-being, offering family-friendly policies such as full-paid maternity and paternity leave, flexible work arrangements, and continuous professional development opportunities. These initiatives cultivate a supportive workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and personal growth.
This year’s recognition serves as a strong affirmation of OUPC’s efforts. Looking ahead, we will continue to leverage our expertise and resources to drive the development of education that serves students, educators, employees, and the wider community.
