Employees of Oxford University Press (China) Awarded in the “Good Employee Recognition Campaign”

Oxford University Press (China) (OUPC)’s employees were awarded Good Employee Commendation Certificates and lapel pins in the “Good Employee Recognition Campaign” organized by the Labour Department, in recognition of their outstanding performance and contributions to OUPC.

OUPC was recognized as a signatory of the Good Employer Charter in 2024 by the Labour Department for the third consecutive term, starting in 2018. The Press has been implementing various human resources management practices to support our employees and promote work-family and work-life balance. To foster a harmonious workplace and express gratitude to our employees’ contribution, OUPC participated in the “Good Employee Recognition Campaign”, a value-added activity to the Good Employer Charter 2024, nominating one employee and one team.

The individual awardee was Mr Jamie Ko, Sales Manager, who showed excellent leadership and customer service skills. Our Digital Project Team received the title for pushing boundaries to develop a ground-breaking application to fulfil business growth. Their outstanding performance makes important contributions to OUPC’s development as well as the education publishing industry.

Ms Nancy Yip, the Managing Director of Oxford University Press (China), congratulated the awardees and said: “It is an incredible honour that our colleagues receive the recognition. The commendation acknowledges their dedication to OUPC. We will continue to implement and enhance our human resources management practices to create a friendly workplace where employees are supported in their pursuit of excellence. By fostering harmonious labour relations, we build a thriving and collaborative environment that drives our collective success.”
