Entry requirements:
Any forms of colouring are accepted. Participants are required to draw and colour the picture according to the instructions. Any pictures with additional materials (e.g. stickers, sparkling powder) will not be accepted.

Representatives of Oxford University Press (China) Ltd


Selection criteria:
Creative expression (30%)
Drawing techniques (30%)
Aesthetic sense (30%)
Relevance to the theme (10%)

School-based selection: 

To encourage extensive participation, schools may consider selecting outstanding works for the competition.

Awards
In each category, there will be one champion, one 1st runner-up, one 2nd runner-up and ten merit prizes.
Champion Oxford Story Tree readers with an Oxford Reading Pen,
book coupons, a trophy and a certificate (around HK $2,000)
1st runner-up Oxford Story Tree readers with an Oxford Reading Pen,
book coupons, a trophy and a certificate (around HK $1,500)
2nd runner-up Oxford Story Tree readers with an Oxford Reading Pen,
book coupons, a trophy and a certificate (round HK 1,000)
Merit prize (ten entries) A certificate
*All winning entries will be included in Oxford Story Tree Colouring Book to be published in 2019.  
 
Result announcement:
The winners will be announced in March 2019 on this webpage. Winners will also be notified through their schools.

2. Submitting the form and entering the competition

Please submit the filled form together with the entry to your school.

Terms and Conditions
  1. Each participant should submit one entry only.
  2. Entries found to have infringed other people's copyrights, commercial or non-commercial, will be disqualified. Oxford University Press will not be held responsible for any infringement of copyrights committed by the participants.
  3. Participants and schools must ensure their entries contain no pornography, violence, objectionable, or commercial and religious propaganda element. They should also ensure that the entries do not lead to defamation, indecency, offensive, racial misunderstanding or discrimination.
  4. All entries cannot display name of participant and school involved. Signature, border and watermark in the form of text, symbols or pictures which contain personal information are prohibited in entries.
  5. Oxford University Press owns the copyrights of all entries and will have the right to use all entries in publicity, exhibition or publication purposes. Prior notice or payment to participants for the copyright is not required.
  6. Upon receipt of entries, Oxford University Press will not notify individual participant. All submitted entries will not be returned.
  7. Entries not complying with the competition regulations will be disqualified.
  8. Resolution of the panel of adjudicators will be final. Participants should raise no objection.
  9. Participants agree to provide personal data and authorize Oxford University Press to release such data for promotional purposes. All collected data will be destroyed if they are no longer required after the competition.
  10. Oxford University Press reserves the final right to interpret and amend the regulations of the competition.
  11. Participants must have full understanding of the regulations of the competition. Submission of entries by participants implies that they have agreed to abide by and accept all the regulations involved.
