Marketing Executive (1-year contract renewable)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage digital marketing and advertising campaigns;
  • Brief and work with internal departments and external agencies to execute campaigns;
  • Track, analyze and report performance in digital platforms and advertising campaigns;
  • Assist in the formulation of the marketing strategies;
  • Content-manage and problem-shoot for the organization’s websites and digital platforms;

Regional Head of Publishing

Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and leadership
  • Devise publishing strategy for the Asia Education (AE) publishing function;
  • Develop a long-term regional publishing plan;
  • Demonstrate market-driven approach and in-depth knowledge of AE markets, education and textbook policy, pedagogical trends, and competitor movements;
  • Regular reviews against goals and objectives are conducted and corrective measures taken as appropriate.
2. Strategy and leadership
  • Winning publishing programme is realized and stakeholders engaged; creative front list established;
  • New opportunities and projects are identified, initiated, vigorously planned and developed;
  • Editorial maintenance of the backlist is actively monitored and reviewed;
  • All publications adhere to Oxford University Press quality standards and editorial guidelines.
3. Financial management
  • Budget management is controlled and on target, and necessary approvals obtained;

Regional Managing Editor

 Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify, initiate, plan and develop new projects at concept stage;
  • Ensure project budget management is controlled and on target;
  • Ensure STEM and Science materials in their various forms (print; bulk and sample, audio and electronic, standalone or package) are produced to the highest standard possible, within the limitations of authorship and schedules;
  • Interpret and comply with curriculum and assessment guides while securing greatest possible market share;
  • Identify, commission and retain potential authors, reviewers, and other contributors;
  • Provide effective supervision, mentoring, and training to various stages of subordinates’ work, from manuscript to bound or e-copy;

Job Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Science or other related disciplines;
  • Diploma/Certificate in Publishing preferred;
  • At least 10–15 years editorial experience in print or e-learning materials, ideally in STEM and/or Science for primary to lower secondary levels;
  • Relevant teaching experience;
  • Additional editorial experience in rights and ELT materials preferred;
  • Highly proficient English language and communication skills, with a global mindset;
  • Experience working at a meticulous level of detail and ensuring high quality editorial outcomes;
