Accountant

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management report for local management;
  • Review sales performance and conduct gap analysis with commentaries;
  • Assist in annual budgeting preparation, including costing and cash flow etc;
  • Managing the licensing incomes including contract compliance, billing, collections, tax handling, etc.;
  • Co-ordinate with team members and support the initiatives for workflow and process improvement and/or system enhancement;
  • Liaise with audit and team members to ensure compliance for group accounting policies and procedure;
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as requested.
     
Job Requirements:
  • University graduate in Accounting or related disciplines;
  • Member of HKICPA or equivalent;
  • At least 2-3 years solid analysis experience;
  • Able to work under pressure independently and meet tight deadlines;
  • Well-organized, analytical & numerical skill and initiative person ;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and proactive;
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel is a must;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Assistant Editor/ Editor - English Language Teaching (Secondary ELT)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design and develop English Language Teaching (ELT) publications of the highest possible quality
  • Manage the editorial process to ensure all material is produced on time and to budget
  • Network with relevant professionals and associations in school visits, focus groups and meetings
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams in market research, promotion and sales activities
  • Collaborate with design, production and digital teams on publishing and digital/multimedia productions
 
Job Requirements:
  • A University degree, preferably in a field related to language and/or education
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Editorial experience in educational publishing or related experience in writing, content- and copy-editing will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of local English secondary school curriculum
  • Experience in teaching English as a foreign or second language will be an advantage
  • Experience in digital publishing is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills and ability to work under pressure

Assistant Editor / Editor / Project Editor (Physics)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all stages of the production of English and/or Chinese teaching and learning materials in book and electronic form;
  • Ensure the teaching and learning materials are accurate and meet market needs, in order to achieve the policy and profit objectives set by management;
  • Prepare manuscripts (including proofreading and copy-editing), develop ideas and give instructions for illustrations in books and other products;
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth work progress and develop teacher network.

Job Requirements:
  • University degree in Physics;
  • Excellent command of written English and Chinese;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Good knowledge of IT or teaching experience is an advantage;
  • Candidates with more experience and capability will be considered for Project Editor.

Customer Services Officer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide general reception service including but not limited to handling incoming calls and greeting visitors;
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly;
  • Manage daily operations of the centre, including but not limited to arranging the delivery of products and the redemption of gifts;
  • Handle customers data entry, prepare reports, products repair and maintenance;
  • Responsible for stock and premium management including but limited to stock movement and housekeeping;
  • Provide high standard of services to our users including product and service solutions;
  • Provide after sales services to customers; ensure the goods and services are well delivered to customers;
  • Coordinate with customers, logistic company and internal parties for order processing;
  • Assist in event logistics, venue set up and support on-site events and exhibition;
  • Assist in children activities and parents’ workshop in the service centre;
  • Support other ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Higher Diploma or above with 1 year’s relevant work experience;
  • Fluent Cantonese, English and Putonghua;
  • Helpful, courteous, with good interpersonal skills;
  • Proactive problem solver with strength in situation analysis;
  • Willing to work during weekends and on shift;
  • Experience in parents’ market or baby/child products would be an advantage.

Editor / Project Editor – Chinese Language Teaching (Secondary CLT)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, design and implementation and commissioning of new print and electronic publishing projects;
  • Ensure project budget management is in control and on target;
  • Establish and maintain professional network by liaising with authors, freelance contributors, teachers and academic consultants;
  • Ensure the quality of the publications by supervising and reviewing all stages of subordinates’ work;
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams in market research, promotion and sales activities;
  • Collaborate with design, production and technical teams on publishing and digital/multimedia productions.

Job Requirements:
  • University degree in Chinese language or related discipline;
  • Editorial experiences in educational books;
  • Experience in digital publishing is an advantage;
  • High level of literacy in written Chinese and Putonghua knowledge;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, team player, adaptable, flexible;
  • Presentation and public speaking skills;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Meticulous eye for detail;
  • Candidates with more experiences will be considered as senior positions.

Editor / Project Editor (Primary / Secondary Mathematics)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all stages of the production of English and/or Chinese teaching and learning materials in book, audio-visual or electronic form;
  • Ensure the teaching and learning materials are accurate and meet market needs and schedules, in order to achieve the policy and profit objectives set by management;
  • Prepare manuscript, including proof-reading, copy-editing, develop ideas and prepare briefs for illustrations of books and products;
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth work progress and develop teacher network.

 Job Requirements:
  • University degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in editorial work for Editor;
  • Good knowledge about IT / STEM or teaching experience an advantage;
  • Good organizational and communicative skills;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Excellent command of written English and Chinese;
  • Candidates with more experience and capability will be considered as Project Editor;
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered.
